Argyle is the only winery in the world to be named to Wine Spectator’s Top 100 for Sparkling, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Wines for the dinner include:

Argyle Vintage Brut 2018. Willamette Valley, Oregon

A warm and dry summer lead to a concentrated, yet vibrant 2018 sparkling wine vintage in the Willamette Valley. Knudsen Vineyard, protected in the deep volcanic soils of the Dundee Hills, brings supple depth and elegance, while Spirit Hill Vineyard, in the windy and rocky volcanic soils of the Eola-Amity Hills, brings energy and minerality. Orchard fruits, citrus peel, and toasted brioche are framed around a creamy center and long, graceful finish.

Argyle Rose of Pinot Noir 2021, Willamette Valley, Oregon

100% Pinot Noir grown in the Eola-Amity Hills, this rosé shines with lively red fruit, elegant flowers, and focused length. Picked over 5 beautiful days in early September, the wine is layered with depth and textural nuance through aging on its gross lees for 5 months before bottling.

Argyle Chardonnay 2021, Willamette Valley, Oregon

A snapshot of the vintage for Argyle Chardonnay, we’re getting the true picture of this dynamic grape. Opulent and fresh, textured and lifted, this year’s blend of Estate fruit offers enticing orchard fruit ready to enjoy.

Argyle Pinot Noir 2021, Willamette Valley, Oregon

Ranging from juicy red cherry to blackberry and evolving with exotic spices such as star anise, peppercorn and black tea, the Willamette Valley Pinot noir displays the true nature of place. In part of fermenting in small vessels, we extract pillowy and refined tannins while preserving the striking acidity of the cool climate, youthful and age worthy pinot noir.

Markham Merlot 2019, Napa Valley, California

Our Estate Vineyards provide the backbone to this vibrant Napa Valley Merlot. Aromas of plum jam and coffee emerge from the glass, enhanced by toffee and cedar notes from oak aging. Juicy black cherry flavors on the palate meld beautifully with a rich, velvety dark chocolate character on the long, round finish.

Markham “The Altruist” Red Blend 2018, Napa Valley, California

Crafted predominantly with estate-grown fruit, Merlot provides the juicy, velvety core to this Bordeaux-style blend, framed by Cabernet Sauvignon’s weight and power. A dash of Cabernet Franc adds floral aromatics, while Malbec and Petit Verdot round out the palate with juicy boysenberry and radiant color. Delicious and opulent.

61% Merlot, 24% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Cabernet Franc, 4% Malbec, 3% Petit Verdot
